Teaching Matters Conference 2009
The Teaching Matter Conference, Partnerships for Learning: On Campus and Beyond, will be held in Hobart on 26 November, 2009.
The 2009 Teaching Matters Conference provides UTAS staff with the opportunity to share and showcase teaching and learning partnerships that transcend traditional discipline and classroom boundaries.
The partnerships featured are “on-campus” across different schools or campuses and “beyond the campus,” where staff are engaged in teaching and learning initiatives with other institutions, industry, or the broader community.
Keynote speaker at the conference is Professor Hilary Winchester, Pro Vice Chancellor: Strategy and Planning at the University of South Australia.
Attending the conference is free. Registrations to attend close on 23 November.
A free bus will be available to transport staff from Launceston to and from Hobart on the 26th November. The bus will depart Newnham at 7am and depart from the Sandy Bay Campus at 4.45pm.
