Debate on legalising voluntary euthanasia
A public debate on the legalisation of voluntary euthanasia will be held the UTAS Newnham campus next week.
Dr Leila Toiviainen, of the UTAS School of Philosophy is a member of the panel debating the topic.
Also on the panel will be Dr Robert Young (La Trobe University), Mr Bill Godfrey (Exit International and Dying with Dignity) and Dr Gerry McGushin (doctor at Calvary Hospital).
The free public lecture will be held on Thursday, November 12, 7pm at the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre, Newnham campus, Launceston.
